Professor Mototaka Arakawa Tohoku University was selected as the first University for International Research Excellence, and we are required to not only improve our research capabilities, which is an extremely important issue, but also to advance our education. To proactively address this mission, our graduate school established the Biomedical Engineering Education Development Project Promotion Office in 2026. Our work covers a wide range of activities, including curriculum review, refinement of entrance examination procedures, and improvements to operational efficiency. We are committed to producing human resources capable of meeting societal needs through diligent efforts to address and resolve various challenges.
