4. Job description:
The candidate should promote research to realize biomedical regeneration using engineering technologies from both aspects of form and function. He/she should develop research in interdisciplinary fields such as histology, molecular biology, pathology, stem cell engineering, fluid dynamics, etc. He/she should elucidate in vivo signaling and the pathology of various diseases using cutting-edge biotechnologies such as gene editing, iPS cells, and small RNA analysis and develop artificial organs and artificial blood vessels that restore function at the cell and tissue level, as well as new treatment methods based on these informations.
5. Required qualifications and conditions
- Possess a doctoral degree
- Excellent domestic and international research achievements
- Ability to contribute to education and research at the Graduate School
- Ability to contribute to industry-academia collaboration activities at the Graduate School
6. Subjects in charge:
Basic biology, medical molecular biology, anatomy, pathogenesis and treatment of diseases and disorders, laboratory work for biotechnology, laboratory work for medical device innovation, etc.

Annual salary system (According to the rules of Tohoku University)
