As a Research Administrator (URA) for the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering, I support researchers in gathering information to enhance international research capabilities and securing external funding, facilitate matching for collaborative research between medical professionals and biomedical engineers, and maintain and manage shared facilities within the graduate school. I collaborate with URAs of the Research Management Center at headquarters and from other departments in these efforts.
Additionally, I am responsible for running the Education of Medicine and Biomedical Engineering for Engineers (EMBEE), a recurrent education/reskilling program for working professionals hosted by the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering. I also conduct outreach activities on biomedical engineering for elementary, junior/senior high school students, science teachers, and the general public.
